IMPALA announces the expansion of its Outstanding Contribution Award as part of a revamped awards programme co-funded by the European Union. The first announcement under the new scheme recognises women who have made a significant contribution to IMPALA’s work in the fields of equity, diversity and inclusion as well as sustainability.
The Faces of the Independent Sector campaign will offer insights into the inner workings of an industry known for its creativity and diversity. The project is co-funded by the European Union under IMPALA’s network programme.

Following its Annual General Meeting in Zagreb, IMPALA is announcing the launch of a capacity-building scheme for its new member associations. IMPALA is also welcoming a new Ukrainian trade association member, the recently founded SPILNA.
IMPALA is the European organisation for independent music companies and national associations. The sector is made up of micro, small, medium businesses and self-releasing artists. They are world leaders in terms of innovation and discovering new music and artists. Independents account for more than 80% of all new releases in Europe and 80% of the sector’s jobs. More info…
